THANK GOD SCHOOL IS OUT

I just wanted to say a big Thank you for the wonderful 4th grade teachers we have at George Welch Elementary School. I think we had a great success on the leep test this year and if it were not for our loving and caring teachers our children would not have gotten the teaching they truly deserve. I am especially proud of my baby girl she aced the entire test Mastery in L/A, S/S, Advanced in Math and in Reading. She also brought home a trophy for 4.0GPa all year. I was really nervous this whole year about the leep. I knew she could do it but would she do it was my question. We worked so dang hard and it paid off. My nephew who is in another parish also passed his leep so they will be going to 5th grade. I am proud of both Sabre' and Beaux. Again a big Thank you to Richelle Ard, Veronica Wood, Rita Price and Jennifer Green. I will have pictures soon of the Awards

The Kelly Babies

Please everyone who reads my blog pray for my friend Tabitha Kelly's twin girls Kasyn and Karsyn they have been in PICU @ SFMCNorth for the past couple weeks with  really bad pneumonia they have been sent to Shreveport now and are not doing good at all. This family needs all the prayers they can get. Tabitha and Brandon live in Dean, LA close to my sister. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY for these twin babies they are only a month old and very small. I believe in the Power of Prayer and so does this family.

Remembering

Oh how I miss this man. He was my Hero, Idol, Friend, more than a Daddy he was my Grandaddy and he was Grand. This man was the most God fearing man I knew he lived his life praising God and living as if God was standing right before him.  There was so much knowledge under his hat I still think about him and when we would be driving down the road the stories he would tell. The memories our kids have of him is just simply awesome. I don't think not one of them will ever forget him. We miss you Grandaddy but Forever LOVE YOU
